Not just a dog. Part of you.
I photograph gun dogs in their element — whether that’s out on a shoot day, working through the countryside, waiting patiently by your side or causing absolute chaos when they’re supposed to be sitting still.
Rather than turning them into perfectly posed studio dogs, I like to capture their character, instinct and the relationship they have with their handler.
From the muddy paws and wet noses to the moments of complete concentration, these are photographs that show what makes your dog yours — and why they’re such an important part of life in the field.
